Accepted Insurance Plans
Services may be covered in full or in part by your health insurance or employee benefit plan (please call to see if we currently accept your insurance plan). Please check your coverage carefully by asking the following questions:

-
Do I have mental health insurance benefits?
-
What is my deductible and has it been met?
-
How many sessions per year does my health insurance cover?
-
What is the coverage amount per therapy session?
-
Is approval required from my primary care physician

Payment Methods
-
Cash, check and most major credit cards accepted for payment.

Cancellation Policy
-
Failure to appear for your scheduled therapy appointment, without 24 hour advance notification, will result in a charge for the full cost of the session.

Credit Card Policy
-
In an effort to prevent balances from accruing, we will require a credit card to be kept on file in the event of an unforeseen balance. A credit card authorization form will be completed at intake and your therapist will review this policy with you in person should you have any questions.

Confidentiality Policy
-
WHO Counseling is required to protect the confidentiality of their clients so no information will be shared without written permission from the client or, if the client is a minor under the age of eighteen, the client's parent or legal guardian. Insurance companies request a release of information to approve services.

Circumstances which a client's confidentiality is unprotected or null and void include:
-
If a client states that they intend to harm themselves, the provider will take steps to ensure the client's safety.
-
If a client threatens to physically harm another person, the police must be notified and the person of interest informed of the threat.
-
Suspected child, dependent or elder abuse is required by law to be reported to appropriate authorities.
-
Court-ordered evaluations or testimony are directly released to the requesting court.
