W.H.O. has helped hundreds of individuals and families in the community with their highly professional staff. Our programs are focused on helping individuals learn basic living skills, manage life challenges (probation, substance abuse, budgeting, SSI, homelessness, advocate/manage doctor appointments, etc…) and to improve their quality of life.

through the following state agencies:
Intensive Outpatient Program
This program is an in person program for children, adolescents, and adults who are having challenges with addiction and would like someone to walk with you along the way. Participants will work with someone daily in an individual and or group environment to start to learn how to live a recovery lifestyle. WHO Counseling Services team will assess and identify your personal goals that will promote the life you want to live.
Substance Abuse Case Management
This program links and assist participants with assessing needed medical, psychiatric, psychological, social, educational,
vocational, recovery, and other supports essential to meeting your basic needs.
If medication assistance treatment is recommended, we will work with our partners to assist you with scheduling and accompanying you to your appointment for support. Your clinical team will be there with you along the way to ensure your success.
Individual Therapy
As much as group therapy is instrumental in building personal support, there are moments in which working on problems individually is just as important.
WHO Counseling Services clinical team will be working with you one on one to address the problems that you have identified helping you build a toolbox of coping skills that will be important to you as you create a recovery lifestyle. The adolescent program is an evening program.
VASAP Groups
This program focuses on substance abuse education and relapse prevention. Our program can help you complete requirements of the VASAP program.

The groups meet weekly based on your recommendations. There is a weekend program that can assist an individual with meeting the requirements of the VASAP Program.
Mental Health Supportive Services
This program is designed for adults ages 18 and over. The primary goal of our program is to preserve an individuals independence and maintenance of healthy living through providing community linkages that will equip them with the knowledge, skills and abilities. These skills will allow them to recognize personal danger, establish or maintain interpersonal relationships and recognize inappropriate social behavior.
We seek to provide life skills training to individuals struggling with life challenges. Each qualifying adult gets an individualized service plan that is person centered. We work closely to ensure you are are set up for success.

Intensive In-Home Counseling
This program is a time-limited structured intensive program for children and adolescents ages 4-20 provided in the home to promote family preservation to prevent out of home placement. The program includes individual counseling and family counseling weekly with emergency assistance as needed with the client and legal guardian or parent(s).

The purpose of home-based services is to provide comprehensive services to at-risk children, adolescents and families in order to stabilize the family and maintain the home environment, establish and work on treatment goals and facilitate the use of community resources for the family.
